Craig Frazer
Camino Guide
After relocating from Cape Town in pursuit of a lifestyle rooted in nature and adventure, Craig and his family found their home in the shadow of the Drakensberg Mountains. Their love for hiking and the outdoors led them to embrace the vision of EFSPA, where Craig has since become involved.
Today, he serves as the dedicated Camino Guide for the Maluti Mountain Camino and co-guides the Echoes of QwaQwa route alongside his son, Cuinn, and Cultural Guide, Dr Lucky Mopeli. Craig also brings his passion for water-based adventures to EFSPA’s Kayaking Camino routes, guiding pilgrims on meaningful journeys through the landscapes he now calls home.
Dr. Lucky Mopeli
Cultural Guide
Dr Lucky Mopeli, a pastor, tribal leader, and academic with a Doctorate in Philosophy, was born and raised in the heart of QwaQwa. Shaped by the foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains and the wisdom of village elders, he carries a deep connection to the land and its stories. His passion for hiking and heritage comes alive as he guides pilgrims along the Echoes of QwaQwa Cultural Camino, leading them to the sacred Bashoeshoe Caves. Through his leadership, each journey becomes a meaningful encounter with the history, spirituality, and living traditions of the Eastern Free State.

Cuinn Frazer
Camino Guide
Cuinn’s love for the mountains began at the age of seven, when he climbed Sentinel Peak via the iconic chain ladders alongside his brother and father, Craig. Growing up immersed in the natural beauty and heritage of the region, he developed a deep appreciation for both the land and its stories.
Today, Cuinn brings that passion to life as a guide on the Echoes of QwaQwa and Maluti Mountain Camino routes, where he shares his enthusiasm for the outdoors and local history with every pilgrim. He also serves as a kayaking guide on EFSPA’s Kayaking Camino adventures, offering a spirited and youthful energy to each journey.
